Regardless of what they cost, I would get them. Any price is worth clear vision.

there isnt such a thing as non permanent glasses. glasses are glasses even if you dont wear them all the time. what u need to do is go to a local eye doctor and they usually have a wide selection of glasses to pick from ranging in price. if you are concerned about money, ask the girl there where you can look for more economic costing frames. glasses are no cheap thing. i think the least u are going to spend is about $99. but u gotta do what u gotta do. plus look into if u have vision coverage from either ur parents work or from where u work. many insurances will cover alot of the price of glasses so u wont have to spend that much. some vision coverage plans actually can cover the whole price of glasses. investiage this a little more so u wont have to spend so much.

Glasses are not permanent. You will use them as needed, like for reading far distances. Get the glasses now, your eyes may strengthen over time and you may not need them forever.
Although it depends on the cause of your poor sight; you may have an inherited degenerative eye disease, which will get worse as you age no matter what you do.
Just don't alow yourself to ever squint again trying to read something you can't visualize. Don't sit too close to reading materials nor the tv or computer. Sit straighbacked with a straight neck. (maybe kinking up our blood vessels when we slouch might cause less blood flow to and from the eyes creating bad eyesight.....)
I needed glasses by the end of sixth grade, but before finishing high school I hardly ever had to wear them. When I got my driver's license, I was not required to wear 'em to drive.

non-permanent glasses for near sighted- never heard of. to see the board clearly from a distance, you'll need eye exam & average cost of frame is between $75 - $400 also lenses have various prices depending on thickness etc..

just visit few places, lens crafters or even sears- see whats on sale & if you're really not into the fashion frames, the whole thing might cost less then $175.-

Just go to Wal-mart--it will be pretty cheap if you get your glasses from there. Actually, it doesn't matter if the glasses are "non-permanent" as you say. The cost will be the same regardless. Granted, if your prescription isn't that severe, then your glasses may cost less.

Glasses will cost the same whether you use them all the time or only sometimes.
For less expensive ones, go to Cosco or Walmart.

Permanent glasses would be cheaper. Because you wouldnt have to buy separate pairs for different instances.

i have this same problem... I just got glasses for it, it depends what store u go to, i went to lenscrafters which is really really expensive, i got dkny glasses for 250 all together, it won't be that expenisve depending on what u get. a lot of places don't carry our kind of prescription because it's so minor....
