i need 2 or 3 landline phone companies prices for long distance phone calls. im doing a homework assignment on this so if my termonolgy is way wrong sorry.

There are lots of long distance companies, and all charge differently. Each will have a certain monthly fee, a minimum useage requirement, a certain number of minutes included with the plan, and the cost for additional minutes. Some of those values may be zero.

For instance, my long distance from Americom.com costs 3.9 cents per minute, with no monthly fee or no minimum usage.

Just do a yahoo search for long distance, you'll find hundreds of different offerings.

Each company has their own price; but if anyone like me calls long distance a lot like I do (90%) a flat rate is the way to go. I used to have AT&T one price whether you call 1 or 500 times long and short distance. I now have Comcast.

You're going to have to call the companies to find out. Every company has a few different packages to pick from with different monthly service charges and different per minute rates.
