we'll find out when we get there .. but in reality the sex drive is built into our bodies ...

The purpose of sex is to procreate. The fun that comes with it is just part of that pleasure. In heaven, with our heavenly bodies, there is not need for procreation. Our pleasure will not be limited to a physical body. It will be enjoying all the pleasure of being with Jesus, seeing Father God face to face, and enjoying each other's company without the problems of sin, adultery, abuse, abortions, etc and all the other stuff that is linked to sex in a physical body down here on earth. The Bible teaches us that we will be like the angels, who neither marry nor are given in marriage....in other words...no sex. You will be like the angels, a spirit being....not a physical being

Sex is physical and Heaven is a spiritual place. I would say there's no sex in Heaven (or beer, video games, or anything else fun).

There really are greater things than sex. This question was asked today. We are neither married, nor given in marriage in heaven. I am of the belief that there is much greater euphoria to be had in heaven and it doesn't involve sex whatsoever.

No and yes.

Contrary to sex - based Mormonism. " in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven." (Mat 22:30).

In the spiritual dimension there is even greater joy than that which can be had by our carnal senses, which God also made, and enables you to enjoy His creation by (the problem is when we make the created our "gods"- which is to our own hurt - rather than the eternal and unfailing Creator by faith and surrender to the Lord Jesus).

(1 Cor 2:9) "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

(Rom 14:17) "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

(Psa 16:11) "Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."

(Rev 21:4) "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

BUT..

(Psa 9:17) "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."

(Luke 13:28) "There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out."

(Rev 14:11) "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."

(Acts 3:19) "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;"

I guess that it depends on what the definition of heaven is for which religion.

No sex in heaven. People are like the angels, and have no need for marriage.
