I've watched them all but Da vinci Code (haven't gotten the chance yet) and i'm Christian. It does not shake up my faith because I know what I believe. Some of the themes in Constatine are taken from Christianity and religion in general. I watched Ghost Rider cause I like comic books. As a Chrstian I have limits and preferences though.

Da Vinci Code poses some great questions blended into its plot. The possibility that the accepted history of Christianity is not totally true and/or complete is a terrible threat to them. The controversy over the book was huge. The chatter when the movie came out was gargantuan. Many refused to watch it.

I did. Wish I had listened to the critics and not. But, I like the actors. I do not for a moment accept anything about them as being close to true anymore than Superman Returns, which I also saw.
The problem is people have been taught so little about the Bible, they believe it is true. They believe Codes are there and real. This is sad.
You mention you are an atheist. Whether this is because you have only been taught lies as truth and rightfully rejected that or reject everything automatically, I have no way of knowing. We are in agreement of not taking the movies to be truth as the right course of action.

I've watched Constantine, and think it's a pretty cool movie. Haven't seen "Da Vinci Code" or "Ghost Rider", but I hear they are pretty good movies also. I'll have to get around to seeing them sometime soon.

I have seen "Da Vinci Code" and "Ghost Rider." I have not seen "Constantine" but I would like to see it.
They are just entertainment and I don't care if Christ was married anyway. It won't change my belief.

I watch as many "horror" movies as I can because there has yet to be one that was horrible in my mind. Yes I am a Christian but I admire special effects so that's why. I saw Rob Zombie's Halloween last week and it was awesome in spite of what some critics said. It was very realistic.

My Grandmother is a Jehovah's Witness, and she wouldn't watch any of those, saying they were all a mockery of the Christian faith.
I have a Baptist friend who has watched the comedies and thought they were hilarious, and a Roman Catholic friend who has watched the comedies, POTC and the DaVinci Code.
I don't think ANY of them would watch Constantine or Ghost Rider, because of their relation to the Devil.
I mean, if we go to garage sales, and there's a Ouija board there, ALL THREE of them will demand that we leave. They say that the Ouija board carries a diabolical force, and it will only follow us if we buy anything from the sale.

Some people are just so deep and spiritual they are pretentious.
There are some Christians that have conviction they stand by and won't subject themselves to those movies because they know their weakness and strengths.
I am a Christian and it don't bother me. I know how to decipher truth from fiction and it don't meddle in my faith as a believer. Some stuff I'm just not interested in.

I watch many kinds of things. I don't like bloody, gorey, movies though. I do watch many things that I believe will somehow increase my understanding. I don't believe that some movies lead people astrary.
If a movie is able to sway a person's belief, then they weren't very firm in their convictions to begin with.
