These days there are no innocent people left, maybe only the stupid remain innocent, and we must love them i.e. care for them and accept their stupidity and innocence. Even if we make fun of them they may not understand. However we must not hurt or abuse them physically.

There are very few innocent people in the world today. Even children are not so innocent anymore. It's difficult to deal with stupid people. However this is no excuse for being unkind and mean.

I agree. Naive or ignorant (I don't want to call the stupid) people must be protected from others with higher intelligence.
We must face the weak with love, concern and protection and, believe me, sometimes, those people we call naive, have a philosophy so pure and innocent!!

Really??? ALL religions say to love the stupid? I can see loving the innocent, but I've never heard of loving the stupid. Who is stupid in these religions eyes I wonder.... Mentally retarded? Sure, we should be kind to them, they need our help to function in the world.... Or does it mean anyone who doesn't believe in that religions faith? Or just the uneducated? It would be interesting to see how differently people would translate what these religions say... and how exactly they say it.

We must also love those who think themselves Holy for memorizing scriptures or attacking people in the name of God. We do not have to seek them out but we can't judge them. We can tell the truth of their carnal nature. We must love idolaters who worship a book rather than the message.

Excuse me...To love them has a big difference than affording them...And on the altar of mercy..ok, i agree we must give sympathy..Further this...away..We ll not be at the end ion the coach of a psychologist, neither we owe it to anyone..
Sympathy yes...to afford...personally no...
