Dear Greg:
You seem to have a particular affection for events and information from the early part of the twentieth century. Are you a history buff of some sort? Could you perhaps be a bit more specific about the doctrines of eighty years ago?
The reason I ask is this: circumcision was made mandatory by God back in 1919 B.C.E. It was faithfully practiced by the Jews under the Mosaic law covenant. Yet, when the issue arose in the first century in connection with Christianity, they couldn’t quite wrap their brains around the concept of change. The issue arose more than once - sometimes in the midst of a rather heated exchange. Finally, the circumcision issue was decided by the governing body which evidently included “the apostles and older men in Jerusalem.” I invite you to turn your attention, please to Acts 15:1, 2 for the account.
You can well imagine how serious this was: some of the religious leaders who had become Christians were insisting that the Gentile Christians could not be saved and could not be part of the Christian congregation of God until and unless they were circumcised. Imagine! Of course, hindsight being 20/20, it makes perfect sense to us here in the 21st century. Still, divine patience back then was extended to all and the matter was finally settled.
Now Christians thereafter in the coming centuries neither believed nor taught that the Mosaic law concerning circumcision was mandatory as it had been taught in the decades predating the first century. I'm sure you agree with this Biblical change.
So I guess my point is, what is your point in asking about teachings from 80 years ago? And, further, my point is: to what teachings, specifically, do you refer?

The Watch Tower is a publishing company.
How is a person to be disfellowshipped from a Company???
So, what's ur real Q ?
And....just taking a stab at it.....
Many things have been adjusted over the years.
(I haven't been in the truth long; but)
Isn't there a Scripture that says something to the effect of:
As the day draws nearer, the light gets brighter.
Or in other words; God would reveal more to His servants as the time of the end gets nearer.
Yep! that's it.

Doesn't make sense. If you believed the doctrines from over 80 years ago, you wouldn't want to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
I have a question for you. Why did you delete 3 of the questions you asked about Jehovah Witnesses? You couldn't think of a response? I showed you some pretty solid facts so I guess thats the reason why. Its ok for you to delete them, but I thought it was pretty funny when you did that.

Why you are not asking what will be the conditions of this planet when Jesus Christ rules the earth instead of Satan?
The bible has many topics the more important how God almighty will stablish a Kingdom in earth and set Jesus as a king to transform it into a paradise, ask that kind of question are more beautiful and increase your hope for the future.

Let's see, would you believe we never got to the moon? There is nothing smaller than the amoeba? Nuclear power and weapons is a story made up to pacify us? You have a heart attack, you're dead? Your doctor advises you to smoke? How should YOU be treated believing those things?
As we move through time, we learn things! How about that! What we were once absolutely certain of once is totally different now. We adjust our thinking or fall away.`

Are you familiar with the verse that states in part "the light will get brighter as the Lords day get nearer"? As we get closer to "the end", we wil be enlightened by God's spirit to greater understanding of his word. This applies to all christians faiths if you go to or listen to other faiths. You need to stop finding a reason to disrespect other faiths because of an agenda.

Greg...I will answer the question.
The answer is YES, you would.
There none of the Witnesses wanted to answer, so I had to clean up this mess, and your question is a good one, It shows that they do not believe anything that they tought in the 20s
