Well see i want a dog that is good with young children, m. yard, and thats small?

Go to www.dogbreedinfo.com and on the right hand side click "dog breed quiz"- it will ask you a few questions and give you a list of dogs that fit your lifestyle. Also, www.akc.org has information on all dog breeds- click "breeds" on the left-hand side.

The best dog for a loving family would be a golden retriever, and it works very well with children. But if you get a golder retriever, it will grow to a pretty big size. But I would say a small cute beagle would be perfect.

try a cairn terrier they are great with kids love yards and will definately let you know if someone is around that does not belong around there . good luck .

you should get a teacup terrier a jack russel terrier or a yorkshiere terrier
