Morality's only benefit is allowing people to live close to each other. A hermit doesn't require any rules about what is right or wrong, because he doesn't affect anybody else. It's all about how people treat each other.

Sexual self gratification is only by yourself. It really doesn't affect anybody else. Therefore, there is nothing right or wrong about it. You're not helping or hurting anybody else.

However, many studies are out that show that sexual self gratification doesn't do you any harm. In fact, it is a healthy thing to do. It's a great way to relieve stress.

Only if you are a Mormon. I think most of the other churches have gotten over that hangup. Is it bad? No, not unless it becomes an obsession. Anything done in excess can be dangerous to your physical and mental health.

Self gratification kicks ***. It's not wrong to masturbate, religion just makes you think it's a sin or wrong somehow, but in reality it's perfectly natural.

Nope. The only thing the bible really says about sex is that you shouldn't do it with anyone you're not married to. Since masturbation isn't really having sex with yourself, there's nothing wrong with it.

The main problem that christians (like me) have is that when we (yes we) masturbate, or at least in my case there was a degree of lust added with that, and that is wrong or what can lead to wrong doings.

It is not referred to as a sin.
However, just because its not a sin, does not mean its OK.
It could be considered unwise.
A person could do themselves physical harm if taken to the extreme.
So, why bother to take 1 step in that direction?

It is selfish. Take your feelings and rechannel them in useful ways to help others. Take your mind off yourself. The Bible has lots to say about selfishness.
