The (Catholic) New American Bible states:

Do to others as you would have them do to you.

The (Protestant) King James Version states:

And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

What does that mean "The Catholic verse of Luke"?
It gives the idea that Luke 6:31 says one thing in a catholic bible and something else in a protestant bible.
The bible says what the bible says.
All translations are just fine.
Sometimes the words are a bit different, but the thoughts are the very same.
If you concern yourself with anything, concern yourself with "ye" and "do ye also".
That's a strange way to speak these days.

What is Catholic Version?

This is the Golden Rule spoken by Jesus. It translates from old English to everyday English---"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

It is found in the King James version of the Holy Bible; in the
New Testament in the book of Luke
