Yes, atheists tend to like discussions more than bullet points, so digital forums like this one are much more conducive to us than TV or radio.

Yes, there is a strong bias against atheists in the popular media.

Yes, this is a bad thing. This pervasive religious superstition is the main societal disease of today.

People are afraid to be honest on t.v., radio and the papers. It's like admitting that you are an abortion doctor, very dangerous because there are so many lunkheads around. I am sure this will change for the better, as atheists realize that they are becoming less and less of a minority.

No. I don't think so. Christianity is not presented favorably, if at all, on major TV networks. Media is an outlet of humanism, much of which has it's roots in atheism. I just think that on YA, the atheists have an outlet to anonymously vent their frustrations.

Media is not a reliable or educated source. They often misuse words and disgrace the Scientific Method.

Is this a bad thing? Not necessarily.
Read a book by the Dalai Lima on the convergence of Science and Spirituality and you'll get it.

Undoubtedly. The mainstream mediua is owned by rich basstids who have a vested interest in appealing to a gullible public, and keeping the status quo. Pretty much the same reason slaveowners introduced Xianity to their slaves - keep them focused on the afterlife & a miracle savior so they'll follow orders here.
