Same thing.
Faith is about emotional attraction to an idea in the absence of evidence. The reason that someone has faith is because they want to believe something, but don't have any real reason to believe.

Emotionalism has nothing to do with believing in God. You will experience the emotion of love when you experience his forgiveness, but just getting your emotions aroused does not make you more spiritual. It take a choice... a decision you must make...apart from how you feel. Faith is very important. The Bible teaches us that we must 'believe' to be saved. That faith comes, not as we work up our emotions but as we get into the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing and understanding what God is saying to us in the Word. When we understand His love, His forgiveness, his willingness to love us in spite of our sinful condition...it helps us be grateful and appreciate his love for us. We certainly don't deserve it.
Grant it, there are some folks who wear their emotions on their sleeve, so to speak. But emotions are fickle and can change with the wind. We must have a solid foundation for our faith, the Word of God, not the emotions of man or woman. It's not how loud you shout or how long, or how high you jump and scream...its what you do with your life when your feet hit the ground. Choose ....to serve God.

Not even! lol You don't really think people believe what you know to be false, or just because someone says so do you?
Here is something I find interesting ... Those who reject religion generally arrived at their position because they are a "free-thinker" who rationally weighed the evidence, and then freely chose atheism over theism. YET, they also believe that your thinking and actions are nothing more than the FIXED reactions of the atoms in your brain that are governed by the Laws of Chemistry and Physics developed by random selection. A rather interesting contradiction ....

If you read books by the Dalai Lima, Thich Nhat Hanh and Indian philosphers more often..perhaps you will understand the difference...

No, I just feel drawn to it. And it interests me. I was Christian, but my heart wasn't in it. Then I went to Wicca, and it felt normal. Make sense?
