Darwin was 'put on' this Earth to answer one of our biggest questions, "How did we get here?" through science. If that's 'testing' your faith, that's your problem.

No. Darwin was a scientist who studied how the world works. He said nothing about God, the creation of life, or the relationship between them--one way or the other.

Christians at the time--scientists and non-scientists--did not have a problem with Darwin's work. Those with educations understood that a literalist interpretation of the Creation story was incorrect--and they welcomed the discoveries of Darwin as sheding light on the process by which God brought life--and mankind--into being. Nor was this new. Even Calvin, clear back in the early 1500s, made the point that the Bible was not a science text. He said specifically tat it was written to communicate God's MORAL message, not as a literal description of creation--and that for the true Christian, learning more about God's Universe was a mark of Godliness.

The false teachers today who reject this approach are not true messengers of Christ. You only need to look as far as the so-called "Theoery of Intelligent Design" to prove that. Here we have creationism, pure and simple. But they lie and call it by another name, and claim it isn't simply the Bibblical story of creation with the labels torn off.

In short, they lie. That they would not do if their motives were in any way Godly. And here is another proff. Evolution is based on physical evidence. Yet many of these false teachers say that the evidence--fossils, etc.--was placed there by God to test faith. So--what they are saying is that God deliberately placed false evidence into the world to mislead--and "tests" our faith by seeing if we believe His false evidence. In short these fake preachers are calling God a liar.

God created the Universe--and life--and humanity. All evolution does is tell us something about how HE chose to go about doing so.

Darwin was "put" here to give us faith. A new faith is coming; one that connects all things and one that elevates men to Godhood.

Not the kind of Godhood that Westernized Christianity seems to embody, but the kind that is not hero-character focused.

Darwin took responsibility for his own soul. This is enlightenment: Simple reason.

Faith and science are brothers. Darwin found some logic in the mutating of plants and animlas. Some scientists spend all their time trying to create the myth that we came from Apes. But we never did. Nor did Eve come from a rib.

There are metaphors all around us... but God's wonderful creation is not so easily defined, not by a bible or a scientist.

Your faith is only tested through your actions, words, deeds and thoughts, and if you use your God-given integrity for the betterment of all, including yourself. You test your own faith.

God is Love and tests no one. Why would that be nessecary? It is not.

We are known by our own actions, words and deeds, and by these we judge ourself. Just like you are questioning your own faith with a scientist's point of view.

God created you and he create Darwin to come and enjoy life and to discover what you will. So what are you discovering about this wonderful world?

Think why this is relevant to your life??!!!

No. He was put on Earth to end our darkness.

Judeo Christianity had given the world almost 3000 years of superstitious and stupid dogma about our origins, and had based hateful moral laws on this. Darwin swept this aside in a tour ed force of intellectual rigor and truth.

If your faith cannot stand this, then your faith is worthless. The light is now in the world.

Darwin wasn't "put" on this earth any more than anybody else was. Luckily he was born and lived to prove the emptiness of "creationism."

Darwin was put on Earth by God to lead us away from the darkness...He was enlightened by God to describe how He created us.

Just because Genesis says God made us from dirt, doesn't mean it was simple like that...

Think of it like this...an artist is never done improving his paintings, a designer with their house, etc. God, for all we know, could be like "Oh...well I want the humans to be a little taller" hence evolution occurs and we get taller....

Just a thought...

If there was ever a misunderstood individual, Darwin is it!
He believed in God.
The last page of his infamous book states:
"There is grandeur in this view of life, having been originally breathed by the Creator....."
He even said he understands if anyone finds his hypothesis far-fetched.
He was no test.
He was a sincere, mis-informed man.

No. You don't have to believe the Genesis account word-for-word, you know? The facts really are in on evolution. Sure, it's possible that we did not evolve from a common ancestor to apes, if that puts your mind at ease. But God could have just as well created evolution as a means of creating the ideal people to carry out his work. Is it seriously any less believeable than shaping a man our of clay, and a woman out of the man's rib bone?

I don't think so. We are all put on this Earth with our Agency, I don't think Darwin was any special vessel to test us. Darwin him self lost his faith. He just became misguided and his ideas have been propelled through the work of the Devil.
