No, give the birthday guy a present, sure, but there is no obligation to share pots with him.

I played at a birthday poker party, and the host of the party and I ended up playing heads up at the end of the night for the prize. Even though I knew I could beat her, I offered to split the prize money with her. It was just a gesture of friendship for throwing such a fun party and inviting me. I could have been greedy and played her down to the last chip, but it's a party after all.

No way would you split, if you really clean him out maybe you could buy him some beer or something to ease the pain since it's his B-day.
