Good Question. I'd have to go with Evangelical Christians because it would be very unlikely that Al-Qaeda could control and take power over America in the first place.
Evangelical Christians on the other hand have a firm place in American society. And since they are accepted to an extent in America, they would definitely be a better prospect. However, It would still be very unlikely.
And If evangelical Christians enslaved America, it would surely be a step in the wrong direction, meaning hell on earth for non-christians and true christians alike.

Insha'Allah, not all Muslims are terrorist or extremist despite what you have heard and obviously believed from your television.
Al-Qaeda is a radical extremist politcal group that is using Islam as a pretext for the horrible actions it carries out against anyone and everyone who does not agree with its political agenda.
I am a Muslim and I am against terrorism and denounce such groups as Al-Qaeda who are defaming Islam.
Islam is the religion of peace. In fact, the word Islam means "peace". Islam teaches a social system of equality, tolerance, respect for others and differing beielfs, fair business practices, promotes education and the rights of women, etc.
Insha'Allah, I am not at all certain as to how such a system would "enslave" anyone.
We currently are living under an administration who base of popular support is the Evangelical Christians of thie country.
During this adminsitrations time in office we have had our rights and liberties slowly taken away all in the name of our "defense".
The government can now tap your phone, collect your email, and otherwise spy upon you with no prior evidence that you are or do represent a danger to the government or the people of this country.
Our movements within and outside of this nation are being restricted.
The current adminstration has consistently lied to the American people regarding foriegn policy and practices.
We have literally spent several trillion dollars to invade and occupy a foriegn nation while deposing its government while we under fund or refuse to fund such programs as health insurance for all children, educational programs, health care for the elderly and under privileged, we have cut services to the disabled while boosting the income of the oil companies and other mega corporations.
This has all occurred while our ability to gain redress from our government regarding these issues has been limited by the governmental representatives pursuit of special interest and lobbiers money.
Who did you say you thought would "enslave" this country?
Insha'Allah, it has already happened and very few noticed.
We were enslaved as the apathetic majority did nothing but mildly complain whle "toeing the line" and following orders. When we all stopped reading the demanding that the constitution of this nation be enforced as a mandate by and of the public, the chains were fastened around our wrist and ankles.
