I have been told that JW's only have sex to make babies and not for enjoyment is this true.

I know a couple of JW's and called both to ask about a question I had and did not say it was anyone else's wondering but my own.
I was told by each one, that sex was to be used to bear children, especially boys. I was also told that the ones not really committed to that faith, it was different for them. It was just to have sex. I was told that the really committed ones follow the Bible where it is said that women wear to bear the fruit of the womb only. And, that there is a high rate of sex outside of marriage for the man to enjoy the act to the fullest and it is accepted by the women (Wives).
So, it sounds it is how committed the couples are to a their own faith life and don't lie about it.

No that is not true. Their system of belief places human sexuality on a higher plane than a drunken pastime practised with passing strangers. There is absolutely no command that a husband and wife should not enjoy the act.

What they said was only within marriage was what God intended. The fact that He made it a pleasurable thing indicated He approved of it.
Also, by putting restrictions in place outside of marriage, showed God's love for us considering the epidemic of STDs today. Comparatively recently, man has been aware of cells, infection, and disease transmission. God knew this from the beginning.

Nope, but thanks for asking. I am a Witness and a virgin. My Mother was pregnant 6 times, but as I understand it she and my Dad had sex quite a bit more often.
Someone probably was thinking of the fact that we feel sex is for Husband and Wife only.

absolutely not.jehovah god made sexual relations to be enjoyed between a husband and wife in a marraige,whoever told you this is completely wide of the mark,ive been married 18 years and have 3 kids does that mean then that me and my wife have only been active upto the conception of our 3 kids? HARDLY.

Where in the Bible does it say they cannot ???
They stick to what God allows and not the traditions of men.

Where do these silly ideas come from. We are normal married people who enjoy it as much as everyone else. It was meant to be enjoyed.

Its supposed to be but I know a few and they seem to enjoy it the same as anyone else! I think it depends how strictly they follow their faith.
