You may have to take into consideration what other people have to say about your cooking, aside from your b/f. Do other people compliment your cooking? Do you take food to "covered dish suppers" and get compliments there? What about other members in your own family? I know when my family members "wolf-down" anything I cook, I must be doing something right. I don't think I could just rely on one person's opinion about my cookin' skills. You can always notice a person's plate when they are finished eating......... was there a particular food left on their plate that they didn't eat when they were finished?? That tells me a lot. I try to find out why they didn't eat it if I can; are they allergic to it or just don't care for that particular dish, or what?! I make a note of it and take it into consideration the next time I cook for that person. I think your b/f is being a little too generous with his compliments...........

Why questioned it??
If your boyfriend is saying you're a wonderful cook and is eating and enjoying your food.why would you feel you don't believe him??
Something isn't right with this picture.........Is there a lack of trust on your behalf when it comes to your boyfriend??
If you feel he doesn't mean it.........then stop cooking for him*
but I still don't understand why you feel you need to question if he means it or not?? Is he the type of person that just says anything to make the other person feel happy? is he a lier??
Hmmmmmmmm things that make ya go hmmmmmmmm????!

it all depends. if he eats it all and theres nothing hidden in the garbage, it could be. my ex was an ok cook, and she had a few things that were horrible. i know enough to say it was good and that i liked her cooking though. (myself im an awsome cook, used to do it professionally). i appreciated the effort put in because she did it for me. and you dont want to discourage. sometimes the action is more appreciated than the end result.
