HI you have made the worse mistake you can imagine, as from my experiance of going from blonde to black was not very good, as you can not no matter how much you try cover it up or lighten it.
You will get used to you blakc hair after a week or to, you might not think so at the moment but trust me you will, after about amonth of having black hair I actually pererred it too blonde and kept my hair black for while. I am now letting it grow out, as from my experiance of first trying to get the black out wasnt good, as I stripped the colour out, and I new the reuslt would be dark orange and pathcy which it was, and my hair just was in really bad conditon form all the chemicals.
All the hairdress would do is have the colour stripped out of you hair and redye the patchyness with another colour dark enough then after a few months they might dye it back to blonde for you but it is very risky and cost you loads of money, and if the hairdressers balls it up or you dont like what they have done you will 9 times out of 10 have to pay for there mistakes.
If I were you I would just let it grow out, and keep having regular trims and cuts to get all the colour out also you may find that changing your make up works wonders I started to wear blushher not loads as I am pale already I needed something to make me look better and a little bronzer on the face and I was good to go and actually got comments on how nice my hair looks.
I was weird I am pale skinned and most people said black will make me look washed out, but loads of people where actually commenting me on it which was great as noone did before ,also it has amazing shine and after a few washeds the black doesnt see as intense.

It might cost a lot. It depends on where you go.
Give it some time. Maybe the shock of looking not like "you" is what is freaking you out. It probably looks good, you just have to get used to it.
Before you do anything rash, leave it for a week and see if it grows on you.
And there are other options to reverting back to blonde - you could put a lot of pretty coloured highlights in it which wouldn't be so hard on your hair.

well it would involve firstly using a colour remover to remove the artificial pigment from your hair then bleaching and toning. this is a time consuming service and depending on how damaged your hair currently is will determine if it even CAN be done. any reputable salon will NOT try and bleach the colour out (although some lower class salons do) make sure you have a few consultations first and make sure they use the words "colour remover" try and find a salon who use Goldwell as they carry the best colour remover. in my salon you would be charged £70.00 for this lengthy colour correction. best of luck.

take it from me.
if your hair is even all over. no patchyness
they will add a COMDINSER on your hair and will bring it back to what ever shade of colour you would prefer. this will take aprox 40 minutes. this is only restoring natural growth therfore only 40-70 pounds depending on the damage caused.
and for those of you who tell this girl a hairdresser cannot restore natural colour and enhance moisture your wrong
listen to me love.
im a stylist i work with clients like this everyday!
i recomend best of both worlds
i work there =]
any more hair or make up questions feel free to ask

My Girlfriend says that she died her hair black about 3 years ago, she had white blonde hair before this too!
if your hair is in good condition you could bleach it. if its in crap condition, very dry etc, dont even try bleach yet as your hair will break!
the best way would be to have streaks of bleach put in so that it breaks the colour up a bit. then wait for the black to grow out. it depends on if you have long hair or short hair. My Girlfriend had really long blonde/black hair and has had to cut it shorter so that it grows quicker!
theres really no quick way of getting your white blonde back, my Girlfriend still has bit of black at the ends, so its taken a while!!!
my best advice would be to get your hair in good condition then get the streaks. Good Luck, it was an expensive mistake for my girlfriend, bless her!!!

Uh-ohhhhh... bad move girl! I tried to go back to blonde from black and my hair ended up f****d, but if you make sure you go to a good reputable salon, you will have to do a few visits over a period of time to go back to blonde (as doing it staright away is stressful on the hair and can cause hair loss). It's a legnthly process, I wish you luck. It ain't gonna be cheap!

First off, wait a few days....it may just take some getting used to (it's a big change!) If you really hate it, I think it will be quite expensive to fix. I definitely wouldn't try doing it your self. Call a salon and get a quote over the phone.

To get it back to blonde you're going to have to bleach it which is really damaging to your hair and I strongly recommend you don't do that.
Was the hair dye semi-permanent or permanent? If it's semi-permanent, then it'll wash off in a month or so. But if you really want, wash your hair every do or every other day and it'll go away fast. If it was permanent, it'll take a while to fully go away.

LOL it's going to be so hard because once you dye your hair black, it's like impossible to go back.
Meanwhile live with it for a few days and see how that goes okay? Also try to get new makeup to warm your face up, like a blush.
