my wife has these vitamins that say "multivitamin vegatarian hypoallergenic". I took one yesterday and had a puffy itchy eye.
does hypoallergenic mean people with allergies should stay away from that product? and where it says vegatarian does that mean only for vegatarians?

Hypoallergenic means that the product is very unlikely to cause an allergic reaction. That doesn't mean it won't happen, just that it is very unlikely.

No, stating that it is vegetarian does not mean it is only for vegetarians. It simply means that no meat products are used in the vitamins and, usually, the vitamins are based on herbs.

Obviously, you might be allergic to one of the herbs used in the vitamins. I suggest you don't take anymore of these. Please buy yourself some regular non-vegetarian vitamins.
