John21:9 1. Jesus leaving. 2. Peter dying.
1 Peter 4:16 1.This speaks of the ridicule Christians will receive when they follow Christ (that is one). 2. As Christians we bare the suffering with Christ as we are one in Him.
This is some what ironic though since John 21:15-22 talks/warns about how the truth of God will be misleading if tough improperly, and should be tough on all levels. And that 1 Peter 4:10-18 speaks about those who chose to preach and those who are chosen to preach the (truth) word of God will be judged first. And you my friend are being tough with the wrong bible. Do yourself a favor and get a King James Version and a Strong's Concordance, then you can translate better.

1 Peter 4:16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.
If people mock you for your Christian faith or reject you as a friend because you follow Jesus then you glorify God when you stand fast and don't let the emotional pain cause you to fall away.

No wonder you can't find anything, you're using corrupt version. Start with replacing them with AV, and then pray for discernment. If you're His, your prayer will be heard and you won't need my help at all.
