A type of meat named "mystery meat" because it is often difficult to identify its primary ingredient. (i.e. Spam, hotdogs, bologna, etc)

umm not sure what mystery meat is other than it's a mystery*
Is that when you freeze your meat in tinfoil (as you ran out of freezer baggies) and can't see what you're defrosting to make for dinner so it's a mystery?? lol

If the meat is actually called mystery meat..I wouldn't be buying it or cooking it let alone eating it*

GoodLuck with the mystery~*

all the left over parts mixed together to make potted meat, hot dogs, spam.....I usually say it is the meat from the rooter to the tooter. You honestly wouldn't want to know where it is from, you would probably never eat those products again

Any meat that is setting in your freezer that has been taken out of it's original wrapper and that has been there for so long that you've forgotten what it is.

I think it's just a phrase people use when they are eating at a fast food restaurant or a Chinese Restaurant. I think it may really be a joke in a way.

Crap that they have left over/no one would eat on it's own (day old hotdogs, leftover hamburger, liver, kidneys, extra ham..) that they mash together and cook so "nothing is wasted".
