is there a way to settle my dog down during his bath? he goes so crazy i can barely wash him... help?

Tepid water, no warmer than you would feed a human baby, is a good call. I place a towel on the bottom of the tub to give a more secure footing. Lots of calm soothing praise, ANYTHING kind to settle him down.........lol...........he'll get used to it.

I found it WAY easier years ago with younger dogs to just put on my swim trunks and get in with my dogs......LMAO, was gonna get wet anyways........I used a handheld shower and in time they'd just run into a regular shower with me to get wet......no soap........lol.........my god that sounds strange but i DID shower with my dogs..........
I only used soap when they reeked from rollin in a dead fish or whatever........and I used the just water showers after letting them ocean swim, gets rid of the salts.

during times that it isnt bath time, throw treats in the tub for the dog to get. this will teach him the tub isnt a bad thing. just make sure he cant slip and injure himself

make sure your using nice warm water.my pup does the same thing
