I've read that you can have too much yeast in the colon and that it can be a cause of weight gain despite diets etc. Has anyone heard of this and if so had success addressing that problem and resolved a weight issue? If so, would you let me know how you did it?

Canditits (sp?) is when the yeast will grow in your mouth, colon, etc. There are ways to stop it, such as trying a strict diet of food (sometimes only things like fruit and veggies).

Its nonsense, put out by people who are trying to sell you treatments or supplements.

To lose weight you need to eat less and exercise more. A good weight loss plan is about 1200 calories a day and 45 to 60 minutes a day of moderate exercise like brisk walking.

Easy to say, hard to do.
