I'll answer from experience. When I was 5, 13 was BIG! When I was 10, 13 was pretty grown up. When I was 13, I was no longer a kid in my mind and I knew so much! When I was 16, my 13 year old sister was my kid sister. When I was 36, my child was 13. Now I'm 56 and 36 is such a baby!

I lost my mother when I was 21. I felt like I lost everything. I felt like I still need her, I'm still learning. She'll never see me go through all of the adult situations that I have to face in life. And the reality is she hasn't been there physically. I felt like a kid. For years I felt like a kid on the inside even though I've had adult responsibilities for a long time. When I had my 30th birthday I started to feel grown. It's still growing on me, even though I've always been mature for my age. So to sum it up yes, you are still a kid when you are 13. Enjoy your teenage years and take it slowly. You have forever to be grown and have grown up responsibilites. I won't say I'd be a teenager again because I love the luxuries of being an adult, but I'd love to do my teeange years again to make a few things right. Please slow down and listen to your parents, you'll be so thankful later. I am glad I have no regrets as far as obeying my parents. Oh and everything fajitacita said is so how I used to feel. I'll be 31 in November!!!!!! I'm so happy.

Yes and no. You are growing out of your kid stage, but yet still very young though you may not realize it. Technically you are a teen but some 13 year olds are still very much kids.

If you still have to ask, you're still a kid! Of course you're still a kid at 13, but you're a teenager and not a little kid, so you can start acting much more mature.

You're certainly not an adult at 13, yes you will be a "kid" "child" etc until you turn 18 at which time CHRONOLOGICALLY you become an adult. Teens are still kids.

13 years old, you are mentelly a child, but your body is changeing so your philicaly are not.
some 13 years olds look like an 18 years old but think like a 10 years old.
be a teenager and don'y worry about life , just have fun
the lord will always walk with you so enjoy the thing that you can at your age.

You are consider a kid or child until you are 18 in most states and 21 in others.

You are a teenager, not a child anymore.
In medical terms you are considered a pediatric patient until age 18.
You are also legally considered a minor until age 17 or 18.
Even if emancipated from your parental controls, you are still considered an emancipated 'minor'.
Unless there is a handicap, whether mental or physical ...then it is age 21.
