First of all , anyone that can help , thank you very much. Ok , so I have a JVC DVD entertainment system connected to my living room TV. When the volume gets too loud they system shuts off. This forces me to take out the power supply plug , and put it in and out untill it turns back on. Anyone out there know what this is ???? I have owned the unit for about 2 years and nothing like this has ever happened? Again , any help is greatly appriciated =)

When volume goes up, the unit draws more current, which triggers a self protective mechanism to turn off so that you don't damage it.

There is a fault with either the power supply, the voltage regulators (more current comes out than it should), or the current protection circuitry (false detect), so time to call service.
