wow 12 seems so young. It's probably hard now but soon enough what you're doing will be better for you in the future. You are turning them down for your own reasons- that is great! You aren't dating because everyone else is. If you really wanted to be dating then you have that option and you've taken control of that already. By the time your are 18 you will be receiving great respect for being straight forward. Dont do anything that you yourself don't feel you want to be doing and good luck.

That's because you're 12. Give it time. There is nothing wrong with not having a BF. When you are ready you will know. And if you keep telling all the boys who like you that you just want to be friends, by the time you feel ready to date they will be waiting in line to date you because you played hard to get and made them wait.

You don't need to be just like everyone else. Know yourself and know what you are ready for. Wait to date until you feel ready.

again, try to have a childhood, worry about dating and such when your more around the age of 16! Your 12, you should be outside playing with your friends, sleep overs, and such, not worring about dating and kissing! wait till you grow up!

You're young why do you feel some weird obligation to rush to have a boyfriend and to kiss and makeout?

It's OVERRATED...trust me.

Have fun and enjoy your youth, don't be so concerned with boys..and don't let it consume all of your time and your thoughts either. You'll regret it later when you're older.

Just chill out and enjoy yourself while your in your prime. Things will work themselves out in due time......don't rush them.

Aww...

Let it be. I'm with my first boyfriend...and I'm 16. So you'll know when the time comes, and you'll be ready. Don't push yourself, because if you do, you'll probably be really awkward around him and it won't work as well as if you waited.

Good luck!

Don't rush it. 12 is young. You shouldn't worry about this for a while. If it happens, it happens. Don't push it, you might regret it.

It will come naturally. It's not school work you have to learn. This is part of life!
