Last week, my boyfriend and I got in a slight argument over the telephone - something I can't stand, but it happens to the best of us. The reason for our little spat was that he was trying to reschedule plans with me at the last minute so he could go visit with a friend he hasn't seen in a while (believe me, I want him to have his cherished boy time, I was just a little upset because I was leaving very early the next morning for a week long trip without him, and wanted to spend a little time together before then). He was at his friend's home while we argued, and I'm sure they heard his side of the debate. Anyways, fast forward to a few nights ago - I was out of town about to go out with my girlfriends, while he was already starting a bar crawl with his guy friends. We had a decent conversation, and nicely said our goodbyes. I called him about 2 hours later to quickly tell him about a hilarious moment at one of the bars we went to, but his phone was off.

No big deal, I went on with my night. The next afternoon he apologized for missing my call, and told me that his friend had taken his phone after our last conversation and turned it off so I wouldn't "***** and moan" while they were out at the bars.

Uh oh. Am I THAT girlfriend? I'm a chill girl, and I've always been tight with my significant other's buds, and I'm afraid that because my boyfriend decided to carry on with a phone argument in front of his friends that they suddenly think I'm uptight wentch. Also, should I be hurt that my boyfriend didn't try to stick up for me and keep his phone on, especially considering that our last argument was a week old, and there was nothing negative between us that night?

It sounds like your boyfriend is ready to move on. Maybe you should do the same.

Well... I can tell that your boyfriend's friends where having a laugh and where pretty wild that night. I also think that your boyfriend just went along with it and tried to pretend that it never happened. You shouldn't be mad at him. Try to forgive him and him friends too.
