I had the mother in law from HELL. She made my life hell. From the beginning. Why. As a newly wed on my day off I would have dinner ready for my husband. She would call just before he would arrive and tell me "just put it on a back burner and come on down here." When he came home I told him about the call and he went down there!!. Another time we went on vacation to Panama for two weeks when we came home she had been through my house re arranged my kitchen. Gone through our bedroom. Changed curtains in the living room bought new furniture for the living room. It did not even look like my house. I have a million more of these stories. I stayed for 15 years because we had two children. When I just could not take any more I gave my husband a choice me or his mother. He choice was his mother. Two years after our divorce she died. The day after she died he called me and wanted to come to the funeral and to come back home. I told him first of all she hated me and I would not be attending the funeral and second of all he made his choice and he will have to live with it.

I wouldn't go as far as saying HATE ...but deep resentment yes.My mother in law is a passive -aggressive, she doesn't respect others wishes until she fully knows she has no chance in the world of getting her way. Then after that she displays childish characteristics like sulking , she displays competitive/petty qualities like innuendo and thing is she's not that interesting so I keep wondering why older women like that keep trying to compete with younger women for the crown, its embarrassing

OMG ............. YES, YES and YES. She is a bothersome being who cannot stay out of our business for nothing. We lived next to her for 10 years and I finally snapped. I packed up my family and moved a whole state away to escape her. I still have to endure her weekly calls and yearly visits. But now when I come home from work, I do not have to deal with her everyday! Thank god for small miracles!

quite a few people have this problems( for a million different reasons of course). she isn't my mother in law, but she's my boyfriend's mother of a couple of years...and sometimes i just want to see how hard i can kick her in the face ...without laughing hysterically. anyway, she puts my bf and his older sister thru hell due to her p o s boyfriend who lies cheats steals and such... but yet she puts HIM first instead of her children and grandchildren... she acts like she likes me to my face, but i've heard the truth.. and i've been nothing but amazing to her and her son, grandson and daughter... she just doesnt like me b/c i speak the truth about all that bs her boyfriend and his son does to everyone. (might sound confusing but its long story short) she's a hypocrit and that's one thing i can not stand.. hell i remember one time my bf hadnt talked to his mom for over a week and when he finally did is was bc she was fighting with her bf...she's a dumb bit.ch who only cares about that man who has screwed over her whole family multiple times.... haha anyway..YES.

I despise her.
That stupid cow put my baby´s whole family against me for no reason. Nobody talks to me anymore! And they used to like me a lot. All of them.
