how to get rid of cat waste?

i live in a 1 bedroom apt and i heard that the flushable kitty litter is no good how do u get rid of your cats waste with out it smelling really bad.

what we do is we buy small garbage bags like the 4 gallon ones and they have vanilla scent to them. I will scoop the litter box and put the waste in that tie it up and put it in the trash.

Trick is to get it out of the litter box asap and into a plastic bag of some sort, NOT to throw it in your kitchen garbage!

I scoop whenever the surface of the litter box is ruffled up, putting it into an old empty plasticized cat food bag, and once a day usually in the evening I take the bag outside and dump the contents into the garbage out there.

It doesn't smell inside, people don't know we have several cats until they SEE them or the box or the food bowls on the floor, so it works pretty good.

well, you just get a litter box and put a bag and litter in it and everytime it craps then you just take a small bag, scoop(you have to buy the scoop)or use a paper cup and i think all apartments have those garbage chutes and you just throw it down there and done!it won't even take you 3 minutes.now, if the litter starts to smell bad, change it often and sometimes use anti-bacterial spray so there isn't bacteria all around it and stuff.

We use 'scooping' litter - scoop out the clumps every day into a plastic bag, tie the top, and take it out to the garbage.
