i don't really know my maximum but i did carry 30.8 pounds. and my brother said i probably couldn't!

and remember i said "I DON'T KNOW MY MAXIMUM!" so don't think 30.8 is my maximum okay?

Try carrying as much as you possibly can, and there's your answer.

The rule of thumb is 25% of your body weight, any more than that and you risk injuring yourself. Of course, if you are into weight training or body building in a serious way your limit would be higher.
