I have several--I have had three angelic interventions on my life and TWO were before I was saved.
God preserved me and kept me.
In one circumstance I had an attempted gang rape while on vacation in Daytona Beach, Fl. Obviously I was terrified to return to my room. It was about noon time and I had been locked out accidentally by my roommates--anyway, out of nowhere a guy in jeans and a t-shirt (the ONLY person on the beach dressed like this) asks if he can help. For some reason I wasn't scared of him and when he walked me to my room he sort of looked like he climbed through the window (I think he may have gone through the wall because I could never figure out how he went through the window so quickly) but all of a sudden the door was open and when I turned to thank him HE HAD DISAPPEARED!!!
I immediately pulled a chair in front of the door so the automatic lock would not engage and ran up and down the area looking for him. I was on a second floor balcony and even looked over the railing! It did not even dawn on me until years later after I got saved I read the verse that says,
Hebrews 13:2, "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
When I asked God if I'd ever seen an angel or "entertained angels unawares" he reminded me of that situation. I was completely blinded to it until I prayed to be shown.
God's greatest miracles in my life are that He restored me and made me whole. I either should NOT be alive or so damaged that I can't operate on a daily basis. God's love and healing are so complete it is amazing.
Titus 3:4-7, "But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

During my college entrance exam I cracked, froze -- gave up and took the test booklet to the proctor, when he asked why I wasn't going to finish, I tried to speak but instead a big ball of tears and babble came out.
Thank God, for this man, he reviewed the portion that I did complete and I had done fairly well, so he had the counseling dean of admissions contact me, to my surprise -- and she offered to have me meet with her, complete the exam, and... poof presto, with the right amount of hand holding, I ended up with a 4.0 GPA and a full scholarship. Praise the Lord! I might not have gotten that in-house scholarship if I hadn't had a nervous breakdown in the beginning, and I certainly would not have received the many supportive services from the university. I always felt as though God was just with me during the whole process, and I was grateful.

That story can be told by countless thousands who have been brought from the dead to life by a direct intervention from God through faith in Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. Scripture tells us that we are without hope, dead in our trespasses and sins and God Himself does something about it. (Ephesians 2:1-4). John 6:63 says "it is the Spirit who gives life, the flesh profits nothing). Salvation is a gift of God so even the repentance and faith that we must exhibit to saved from the guilt and penalty of our sin is by God's sheer grace and mercy prompting us to believe what we otherwise would always reject. John1:12-13 says that all who receive Christ who believe in His name are born of God, not through the will of the flesh.
Philippians 1:6 - He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
I Peter 2:9 - God called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
II Peter 1:3 - His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness.
Colossians 2:13 - and you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses.
God directly intervenes in the life of every individual who responds to HIs love in faith and love. "John 6:44 says no man can come unless the Father draws him". Prior to our faith is God's working whether we realize it or not. Why, so that He gets all the glory which He deserves and we willingly give it to Him as He gives us peace and joy with Him.

My daughter OD'd. (seven yr ago) She was in rehab(and had come to the Lord at this point) when I received message there was a warrent for her arrest in another state for not appearing in a case she had been arrested in. I called that city/state police dept. and received info I could bring her in and appear before a judge on a specific date and explain her situation. At that point I had a case # for her. When we came before the judge, he was confused stating the only charge was a parking ticket. I showed the paper work , a warrent for her arrest and he insisted there was no record. So, I paid her fine for the parking ticket and had them search the computer to see if there was any arrest record of her. There was no record of her arrest. Mind you, she had spent 1 or 2 days in jail for solicitation and resisting arrest and yet there was no record of any arrest. Not thinking this was a God thing I started to all the states she had been in and was arrested in. Not one had a record of her. God had wiped her slate clean. She truly was freed of past sins and born a new. So many more intervention, too many to write, but the most recent.......
More recently, she was crossing the drive path at college, not looking. The kids on the other side of the road, facing her, began screaming to her. Next she knew, she was behind a SUV. The driver, a young girl, jumped out screaming to my daughter, "are you okay". My daughter kept saying, why, what just happened.?? Well, God again, had protected her and lifted her from in front of the SUV where she would have been hit, to behind the SUV. Needless to say, she was able to witness and spread the word to all those that observed and saw God's grand intervention. All for HIS glory.

Sure do! I had a horrific car accident 3 1/2 years ago. I just KNEW I was going to die as it was obvious it was going to be unavoidable. I cried out to Jesus and, not only was my life spared, but my worst injury ended up being a broken collar bone (well, that is if you don't include the PTSD I suffered for about a year and a half afterward).

Sometimes stuff that's really, really improbable happens. I don't know how or why. But I don't understand why people attribute something that's extremely highly improbable to the interventions of a god.

Absolutely!
I went to bed one night after being berated relentlessly by my alcoholic wife, wanting only to die in my sleep. My mind was reduced to its most basic functions and the only thing I could do was repeat The Lords prayer silently, over and over. An angel came to me and lifted my soul out of my body and in a moment's time, I felt every loving thought I had ever thought rush to me like a flood. I looked up at him and asked what this was that I was feeling and he,she,it told me that the only thing you take with you is the love that you have felt for others throughout your life. It was truly amazing and I will never forget it! I awoke the next morning feeling as good as gold and will seek the face of my Lord till he calls me home. In fulfillment of scripture, He stayed with me through The Refiners fire.

Sometimes a Christian just knows they are being carried like in the "Footprints in the Sand" story.

Most definitely yes. The problem is there are too many to list AND I won't testify before people who can't believe in anything anyway so why would they believe my story.

Here's just one. I used to go up to the Griffith Park Observatory after Matins (morning prayer) and just sit, sometimes enjoy a cigar, pray, think over my schedule, and just sort of mull-over the problems du'jour.
I was sitting on my usual bench, when a voice (The Still Small Voice all Christians are familiar with...) in my head said:
"Father...put out that cigar, get up, and go talk to that girl over there..."
There was a girl sitting on a banch about 50' away to my left.
I thought to myself: "Man...what a waste of a good cigar!"
I just sat there.
The voice, ever more urgent, said:
"Get up! Hurry! She needs to talk to you...and she's going to leave if you don't do it NOW!"
I put out my cigar. I got up. I walked over to her (I was dressed in my black cassock and collar) and said:
"Hi. I don't know if you beleive in this kind of thing...but God just told me to come over here and talk with you."
She looked up at me and smiled...
She said: "Well....that's probably because I've been sitting here praying for the last five minutes that God would send you over to me!"
We talked for the next three hours. Turns out she was in a lot of pain from unresolved guilt and grief.
I called church and had another Priest take my Mass at Noon.
It was a wonderful time of prayer.
And I know it was God who intervened.
I know because it really was a good cigar!!!
