OK, So my girlfriend broke up with me. She started being distant and eventually she did it. She said she didn't feel right around me anymore, and that she just wanted to be mates. Something changed because up until a few weeks ago she was really in to me... I know she has feelings for someone else, someone she cant have... which might have been a factor. There is also a really good friend of hers (old friend, whos a guy that she went out with before) who she is really close to, and I always worried she could go back to him at some point (he lives farish away). But as you can see already, its all very complicated.

Well she said our personalities clash or something, that was one of a few excuses though, she couldn't really be clear about it. Problem is I still have strong feelings for her, and sometimes she shows signs she still might be interested... she still wants to be friends, and I'll always want her in my life... I'm just so torn, it's killing me that I cant be with her...

Relationships are so complicated because we don't all think and act alike. Read Men are From Mars, Women are from Venus - its quite enlightening.
Any relationship is two individuals trying to be one entity. It aint easy, but the results can be very worth while.
You will know when you have found the right one to become an entity with.

I can relate. I had a gf also who broke up with me for some other guy. I was torn as well because I truely thought she was the one but wasn't. It took me about a year a 5 months to get over her. I know it might not seem like you will at first but as time goes on, you'll eventually move on and find the one you are really meant to be with. Take care.

yeah, things are not always fair. I can relate to your problem too -.-you want her to me in your life but she isnt. Well, I guess she did broke up for some other guys. I think she feels awkward with she's with you cause you are her ex or something like that. Cuz the thing is that, when me and my bf broke up I feel awkward with im with him, and he's too. So we never talk a word since school starts.sad.. But if she still wants to me mates that's still good. you can still go from mates back to gf/bf.

things can change feelings can change. and things can rewind too.

good luck!

Because the relationship that you always go through is based on feelings that may conquer you today, and tomorrow your feelings just fade. People have different views of what love and life really are. Don't worry, you're still lucky.
