It's basic jibberish. It's like saying Hocus Pocus.
It's more of a Hollywood creation for the Indian culture.
Sahib means Master.
Just like Kemo Sabe means Trusted Scout in Apache

"It's a "mantra." You can decode it many ways. First of all, the usual way to say it, in Arabic is "Sim Sala Bim."
For the first decode, let Sim = Simha = Lion, then say Masala (cause you really pronounce this thing "Simasalabim" = gathering, group, etc. - Bim is actually Bima = Mighty so you have "A Group of Mighty Lions" -- a gang of helpers who can do most anything. In Swahili Sim = Singha = Simha - Simba, still a lion, with the conotation of Power. Then Bim is a nominative, A Mighty One. Sala is probably Shala = Desert or lonely place. So you get "The Lion is the King of the Desert!"
Then you get the honky tonk crazy man poet translation Sim and Bim actually mean This and That -- you don't find it in the dictionary, but who cares anyway -- it's a mantra. Sala means to transform, change (from the same root we get the English word "Sally", as in "Sally forth toward your objective". -- Which ends up meaning "This transforms into That!" It is this last meaning that fits the bill most positively, in the context of works such as 1001 Nights, Sinbad, etc. The way it was used in the cartoons also accords with this -- amazing as that may seem.
In this case, the crazy mantra translation is probably the best. No one would support my view. Who cares?
It's a mantra of transformation, no question about it. Maybe the Secret of the mantra is that it can, in fact, be decoded in a number of languages to have some meaning -- a couple of which I've demonstrated.
Mantras are supposed to be secret, but often do have translatable -- by the book -- meanings." C. W.
