I want a simple small answer, don't give me a website or a big long explanation about it, just a number or if not that a simple answer. How old do you have to be to get laser eye surgery?

Age is not the most important determining factor, although most surgeons will require that you be at least 21. More important is that your eye prescription needs to have been stable and unchanged for about 2 years.

Your eyes need to be stable and for that you must be done growing. I believe you need to be over 18 years old. But everyone is different. Your eye doctor would be the best resource to know if you are ready for laser surgery.
