The authorities would've called your house if he was in a wreck. Maybe he stopped by a family members house or a friend or is stuck in traffic. Don't worry. If he was hurt. You guys would be the first to know.

Try not to worry until you have a real reason to. An hour and a half is lengthy, but not a ridiculous amount of time. Hopefully he'll be back shortly....but in the meantime, start assembling numbers of family members (or other persons who make up your support system) to request assistance in case he's absent longer than a sensible period of time. Be thinking of ways to describe the vehicle your dad was driving, where he was heading when he left, what he was wearing (if you can remember)...any detail you can think of to help authorities locate him should the need arise. These are just preparatory measures "in case of an emergency"....don't take this to mean something is wrong, this just keeps you from feeling helpless in the time you're spending waiting.

Don't worry about it, I'm sure he'll be back. I'm a teen and this has happened a lot to me when my parents were gone longer than I had expected. Now I just don't worry because every time I was seriously scared something had happened, they came back and I felt kind of dumb for worrying. He probably just went to do some other things. You'll be fine.

Don't overreact. When I was a teen, I felt this way a lot. Try calling his cell phone and see if he answers...if he doesn't and you are still worried, call a close relative or an adult you trust and ask what you should do.
good luck, and I wish the best to both of you.

Is your mother there?? Talk to her about it. If not--call some one you know well--family, friend, neighbor--to help you. Don't worry too much. Maybe someone you know can try to find him. Good luck. Hope all is well.

First of all...it's 'wreck'. Second....why the worry? Maybe he stopped off for a beer. maybe he's stuck in traffic. Could be 1000 reasons. Tell you what...ask him when he gets home.
