theres this guy i really liked and we've been hanging out for a couple weeks and I felt like I had to do something for him to remember me (silly sounding I know) but he's leaving into the military. It's not that I regret anything I did I am just afraid maybe he wont have respect for me anymore ?

Well, you did that cause he likes you and you have feelings about him.I don't see nothing wrong about that cause i think you done what you was feeling in moment. Many won't agree with me,but you know, sometimes we have to cache every oportunity we have cause maybe we won't have it anymore. And about your fear,it doesn't depend of what you have done,it depend of what kind of persone he is.Not respecting you shouldn't tell you nothing about you,it will show only what kind of persone he is.If that night means to him as much it do to you,he will respect you.Even if you was dating someone 6 months it don't mean he will respect you,it depends of persone. And one advice,if don't respect you after this, don't regret girl,he isn't worth of it,don't feel used, you done that cause that was the way you was feling for him in that moment,he didn't raped you,so you was enjoying as much he did. So,you aren't used.If that night don't mean nothing to him, don't worry,it is matter what it means to you,if you was happy it is most important. Why don't you talk with him about that night, ask him openly,so no need to worry...at end,it matters only how you will remmeber that night

Why worry about that? Do you still have respect for him? Sex is a two way street. It takes two! You didn't do it alone, so if he doesn't respect you, then he shouldn't respect himself. If you got what you wanted then don't worry about that. Consider it a going away gift and know that what you shared with him is priceless since he can't get what you give anywhere else in the world, If he didn't appreciate it, then he's not worth your while, military or no military. If that's the case move on and just forget about him. There's plenty more where he came from.

Well, you can't really unring that bell. If you like him and want to give him a couple of fun weeks before he deploys, why not? It's certainly not uncommon. Keep your chin up and don't go all clingy on him or anything and I'm sure he'll have plenty of respect for you. Military guys (seeing that I'm ex military) love having girls at home who are friends with benefits, who can hang out without it getting weird but who love a romp on occasion.

you could have thought twice before that. for a woman, there are many many ways by which she can make a man remember him (rather than having sex).
anyway, it depends on the intention you both are having about each other. there's no standard protocol for love. ya...sometimes it MAY come early. but the conscious people recommend that we should give ourselves time to think and decide before doing anything.
my personal opinion is, "a couple of weeks" is a very short time for having sex. it could be anything else that might make him remember you...but sex is the ultimate thing in a relationship, and i think it shouln't come this early.

I can't decide for you if you had sex to soon, only you know the answer to that,
Forget respect, This guy probably won't remember you.
Sex is on every guys mind. Food & sex Food & sex
I feel so bad about what i've written i'm going to leave it for awhile before I send it.
God bless,
ps, I waited, I had my husband read it, his comment was that 2 weeks is to short a time to know a guy before havig sex

If you are having doubts then I think that you may have done the wrong thing too early on in the relationship. Most guys have respect for women. Next time I would think about my actions. You shouldnt have to have sex with someone for them to remember you enough.

if you slept with a guy you hung out with for a couple weeks, he no longer has respect you. he lost the respect before he finished with you.

he wont remember you, unless it was something very unusual.

if he really is going into the military, and it wasnt just a line, thank you for supporting your troops.

He would have remembered you much better if you had not had sex with him now he will forget you the moment the next girls thinks like you and so on. He won't have respect he lost that for you, try not to give away your respect for yourself. No one will ever like you just because you had sex with them, they will think of you as just one more easy girl.
