Lupus or SLE is an autoimmune disorder, one of the symptoms of it is a butterfly rash, often on the face. Fatigue is a key factor. It is diagnosed with a blood test that is taken if 2 or more symptoms are present. It does not sound like you have it.

There are 4 kinds of lupus.
1. Neonatal-very rare and affects newborns
2. Drug induced-certain high blood pressure meds and hormones. This lupus disappears when the med is withdrawn.
3. Discoid or cutaneous which affects the skin
4. Systemic lupus erythematosus which affects organs and organ systems
The only way to tell if you have discoid or cutaneous (skin) lupus is for a dermatologist to do a skin biopsy.
You can have lupus of the skin and not have any other lupus symptoms. Some people with skin issues go on to develop systemic lupus, but not all.

lupus is an autoimmune disorder, it is a range of different symptoms, where the body just starts to attack itself, it can make you very ill my friend had it and it made her very weak and tired, it came and went with periods of time where she felt really well. you may just have a form of dry skin , but if you are concerned then get it checked out by a doctor, but I'm sure it is not as serious as this guy saying it is.

Only a blood test can determine if you have lupus. I got tested for it; there are several kinds. I don't have it.
Lots of conditions can mimic it.
You might have "chicken skin", which is caused by dry skin building up around the hair follicles. Annoying but quite harmless.

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/P97xH
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.
