That love is stupid? Its not to do with any of my relationships but I just don't like love, I think its a stupid emotion.
My parents have a go at me whenever I say that when they ask if I have a girlfriend. I'm not fussed about girls or love, I just want to live my life..

Chris ..you can lead your life any way you see fit ..problem is that when you do fall in love there nothing you can do about ..you can walk away but it will still be there .in every thing you say or do ... try and ignore ..and it will devour you ..i first found it over 40 years ago and it still hurts to be away from that woman for more than a few hours ..the flame still burns bright ..get the right partner and you gain much more than you think you are losing ..give it a try some day..find the right one and that's when you start living .. PS ..i love wedding cake ..sends us a slice some day .

It sounds like you have been hurt before, recently!? I think its great that you just want to live your life, some people depend on others too much and at least you are independent and don't rely on someone else for your happiness. hey you never know the whole time you are living your life you may meet your perfect match. i don't think love is stupid-just very confusing and complicated sometimes....

It's not stupid, sweetie. You sounded like you're afraid of the emotion and you're trying to justify to yourself why you're avoiding it.
There are many types of love, eg. between a parent and a child, between siblings/families, between friends, between lovers/husband and wife. You see it everywhere, everyday. Love is not just spoken all the time, it's also in the action.
I think one of the glorious thing in life is to love and be loved!

You just wanna live you life? then i guess it's love too! YOU LOVE YOUSELF! uh huh..that's a good thing!
LOVE is a short but BIG word. its good to hear that you r loving yourself and i believe once you get the LOVE in you head...and you'll start loving. Loving doesn't mean loving a girl or what.. love your parents, siblings, people around you, animals and the environment.
For me, loving means sharing and believing.
Well, i guess you're on track, by loving yourself 1st.

What emotion would describe what you'd feel for a parent under extreme circumstances? What emotion would you have expressed to your parents by telephone from one of the planes on 9/11? Love happens.

you can live your life and still believe in love i don't think that you think that love is stupid but that you are afraid of it and you don't know it i think you need to try to think of love as a good thing
