Basically what it means is you are resistant to change.
How long did you have an 8 track player, 1999?
I'll bet that before that you had an in dash 45 player.
Go get a CD player, burn all of your tapes, and start your collection over. Sorry , I just had to tell the truth on this one.

tde3 means that the tape film is broken or open before it makes any more damage it ejects the tape now the other reason to do that is if you insert some electronic tape in there not a regular tape there is nothing wrong with your radio

Cassette Tapes? Sounds like a tape transport error code the little drive belt may have broken inside the player.
