ive always wanted a bar code on the back of my neck. and my 18th birthdays comeing up soon. soo i was thinking about getting it for my self. i already have one tatto on my left arm and i know what they feel like. the pain doesnt bother me that much. i was just wanting to know would it take longer to heal then my arm one did?

did you no that it actually takes 6 week for the skin to FULLY heal

however it is ususlly well on the way to being healed after 2 weeks

wow... seriously??? is that still a desirable tattoo? when i was in high school ten years ago that was a craze. and not a very attractive or unique one.
whatever you want to do, it's totally up to you but do think about how you'll feel about it in 10-15 years, it seems very likely that you'll hate it. i know i'm glad i didn't get a neck tattoo when i turned 18 (which i was planning on doing)

healing shouldn't be any different.

i also have one on the back of my neck, it was the first one i got and i was really nervous bout it, but it was fine didn't really hurt just felt like someone scratching you and I'm really pleased with it, healed in about 4 days and now all my mates have got them there as well, just make sure that u go to a decent place as lots of People i know have crap tattoo's coz th place wernt gd.

No you'll be fine. The one on the back of my neck scabbed over in about 3-4 days.

it shouldn't take longer to heal, but it will hurt more because it's on the bone. i wanted my first one there but the artist refused because he said he won't do first time tattos on a bone, he thought it best to see how i'd react to one in a less sensetive spot. (i trusted his opinion because he's my brother in law) you've already done that, so if you think you can handle it, go for it.

I have a good friend that got it and now she hates it! She said it hurt and took a while to heal.

It won't take any longer to heal.


I used to want one of those, that show Dark Angel kinda killed it for me...
