To those making comments about what the "Spirit of God" may or may not resemble, what is your opinion? What form would a "Spirit" be?

In my opinion, it would look GREAT.
If you remember what the Bible says when Moses went up the mountain, he asked God to show Himself, God told him to get into the crevasse, then He passed by. The Burning Bush was just His voice, if you remember.
Our spirits are (in my opinion) kinda like a vapor. Not one that disappears, but one of which kinda resemble our form. Which would be our soul.

But we will not know that until each one of us gets through the judgment that is to come. Then we will all (born again believers) see the Chicana glory of our Lord. Which I personally am looking forward to.

I hope this helps you, because, like I said it is my personal belief.

When you see God, you see Jesus because God is a Spirit and is INVISIBLE; Colossians 1:15, "Who is the image of
the INVISIBLE GOD", John 4:24, "God is a Spirit", John
14:9, Jesus was asked to show them the Father, Jesus
answered, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast
thou not known me, Philip?". Jesus is the temple/body of
the fulness of God, the Spirit. Colossians 2:9, "For in him
dwelleth ALL the fulness of the Godhead BODILY."

God the Universal Father and God the Eternal Son and God the Infinite Spirit each appear to Humans as One Combined Infinite Light of Life with no outside and no beyond.

Hundreds of humans, maybe thousands or more, have had a Sacred, Spirit-transforming Vision of God and Jesus here with us and One in Spirit. Some of my favorites are: Job's Vision, Stephen the Christian Martyr, Saul (Paul) on the road to Damascus in AD30, Blaise Pascal's (most profound !), Charles Finney and others.

In AD1977, I was (suddenly, unexpectedly) Granted a Vision of God and Jesus with unspeakably beautiful, multi-colored Wave after Wave of Holy Father-Son-Spirit Luminosity Presence (stiil here !) flooding down upon me and ALL humans and beings in this large universe run perfectly by our Creator Father-Son-Spirit Jesus Christ ! That was my Spirit Birth May 24, AD1977 and forevermore and in Paradise-Eternity Destiny ... Thank You Jesus for Spirit-downgrasping me and taking me up in You into the Paradise Father-Infinite I AM ... Perfect peace and joy forevermore ...

On form and pattern, the perfect Paradise Pattern is a (lens-shaped) ellipsoid, seven infinite units "tall" by six infinite units "wide" by 0.6 infinite units "deep" That is how a three dimensional space-time human would perceive the Paradise form; in Reality it is in seven spiritul-cosmic universal dimensions. We are thus seeing four crossections-orders lower. The classic little science-spiritual book, "Flatland" by A. Abbott, is very good, easy to read and profound.

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT COMMENT TO ALL:

The Holy Infinite Spirit (Third Person of Deity) is a
HE or a SHE PERSONALITY (both are Theologically proper)
and NOT a mere "IT" thing as a dumb brick or a rusting car !

Well, since Genesis 1:27 says He made man in His own image, then God looks like us and the Bible says He is spirit,(John 4:24) so no physical body, and what form? Well, shape you mean? As man.

Read the old testament where Moses saw a burning bush with the Spirit of God in it.

"goodwill" : No one has ever, seen what God, the Father, looks like. The best analogy to describe, at least, in part, what Spirit resembles is found in John, chapter3, verse 8.

he has come mainly one way that is recorded in the bible....as fire...

however, as God , he could very well appear as a person if there was a purpose in it......possibly to relate to someone better...
