hi on halloween last year we put red food dye in the toilet and was brillant when my daughter flushed the chain anybody got any good ideas thanks

Once I help out at a school for a Halloween Party. I bought a bunch of candy and found a large box I could get in. Cut a hole that the children had to reach in for their candy. I hang treads down over the hole on the inside so it tickle their arm. And I could grab them from inside the box. Oh! They had a Blast with the Scary Box-O-Candy and many would come back laughing and reaching in and out real quick trying to get the candy and keep me from getting them.
I just want to share this. Every year I like to just sit on the porch and give out candy. I will have a 5 gallon plastic bucket full and also some fruit drinks. The drinks always go over well as they thirsty. They have some that fairly cheap so I can have plenty. One thing I do is buy one Really Big bag of candy like M&Ms etc. Then I wait for the best dressed littlest boy or girl. When they come up to me I look in my bucket and say; "Oh no! I only have one piece of candy left. Is one piece OK"? They will look heartbroken and say "yes". I reach down in the bucket and pull this huge bag of candy out slow right in front of them and drop it in their bag. It a blast to see the looks they make, many drop their bag from the heavy drop. Their eyes get as big as the bag of candy as they run to mom/dad and show their prize.

My brother-in-law once made a casket like box and placed it just inside the front door. He laid in it, looking dead. When someone came to the door, and entered he would groan and begin sitting up. Got a screaming reaction from most party attendees.

Not a food related thing, but -
if there's room, set up pumpkins and a 'scarecrow' on the
porch...'crow is actually a real person - when you have visitors...let them get close, and then......8-)
