Story so far...I met this guy a yr ago & we were friends but not close friends. He left for another state shortly after we met & invited me to go travelling with him. At the time I couldn't. He kept in touch by chat every few wks and we get on well. A couple of mths ago, he told me he had fallen for me& I have too but havn't told him as I'm scared its infatuation unless we spend time together. I did tell him I'm in his area in a couple of wks for work & I told him to make sure he doesnt have a girlfriend (flirting)! He said, hurry up and come here! I'm so scared. He's been in contact since & its friendly...how can I control the pace so I don't get hurt? He is very good looking, I wonder what he sees in my. I'm not a model!! He is also much younger than I am.

1st off age doesn't matter it's only a number, and he can see many things in you that you never notice or pick up on. If you two were meant to be and if it's really love it will be. so there is no way to slow things down so you won't get hurt. in love someone will always get hurt sometimes. my parents have been married for 23 yrs. and every now and then like most couples they argue over dumb ****, and i'm sure one of em gets hurt behind it but after that they're fine. just go for it, let things fall into place on their own like it should. you'll be fine =)

You are right to take it slow. I would suggest that when you meet up with him, tell him about your concerns. It is best to get it out in the open before things become serious. He really sounds like a wonderful guy--don't put yourself down, be happy!

i'd say just tell him next time u talk to him that u dont want to get hurt so u want to take it slow, and he probably likes you for you even if u arent a model ive been told the sexiest thing about a girl is self confidence! good luck!

Go see him and see what happens. You can control what you want and don't want to happen. If he lives in another state then you better believe he's a loser and cheating. He young too, that man has someone else and he's trying to get b*** from you also. That's how men are.

may be your physical appearance attracts him. Every man does not want a model otherwise the phrase - " beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" would be a waste. Caution!!! Try to identify the definition of beauty in his mind before showing your eagerness to the issue.

You should go see him, but as with every question, you need to tell him you want to take it slow. he should agree to take it slow. But you should tell him exactly what you told us

(how did he ask you, tell us)

(and if he likes you (which he says he does) he'll make you feel like a model.

sounds like he's just lonely in the new state, don't waste your time with him, tell him to find a few friends and call you in a couple of months....
