Both. I'm so thankful God has made me a new creation (2 Cor 5:17), but on this side of glory the battle rages on (Rom 7). I desire to serve only God, but my flesh is weak (Matt 25:41).
All Christians serve both to one decree or another. We're not perfect, just forgiven.
