Walking since 9 mos. old, I noticed one day his walking was unstable, as if he just started walking 2 mos. ago. 2 days later, after talking to the dr., his head was continuously shaking and eyes rapidly & repeatedly moving back & forth. On the way to the ER, he began foaming at the mouth and squeezing his eyes shut. CT scans, urinalysis & blood test detected nothing abnormal. Especially falling asleep his body jumps repeatedly & his walking is still unstable.
He has never talked well, yet that is. At about 6 mos. he fell to the concrete reaching for me before his sister was able to strap him into his carseat.(don't judge there's more to that story). Anyway, at that time the ER dr. said he was fine. When he walks now it's as a drunkard, moving side-to-side, back and forth.

Please, I'm looking for factual, medical answers and medical direction. No foolishness please.

The Little ones are very durable. It is possible that he is healing (inside) from the fall.
Have you spoke to his regular pediatrician?
I would call and let them know and watch your son for the next couple of days.

I will Pray he is Fine :)

Chuck E. Cheese may be a lucrative place, but it would be more of a "take a baby girl and leave your son behind with a note" instead of an actual trade. Your son will be fine as long as you give him a lot of tokens to show how much you love him. Just remember that you can't trade back when your 15 year old daughter comes home pregnant, or becomes a stripper. You are on your own.

it's time for a pediatric neurologist. call the nearest childrens hospital. they're the best when it comes to this stuff. sounds like he needs a few more tests. it could be that he suffered an injury during the fall that is just now really showing itself. demand some answers and don't stop until you get them. you already know that what's going on isn't right. convince the docs of the same. a good neorologist will find the answers.best of luck to you and your child. please keep us posted. god bless

sounds like seizure disorder. common among children with celebral palsy. and your son fits the description. did your child ever have meningitis? fever? your child should be on antiseizure medication.. before continous seizures do more harm. go online and search for cerebral palsy...there are many varities difficult to explain all in here......he needs long term rehabilitation and lots of support. these children usually have delayed or regressed milestones. you need to have patience and strenght. May God be with you always

The fact that your son isn't talking is insignificant. Mine didn't talk until we was almost 3 (late - but it was full sentences). I would make an appointment with a pediatrician who will then refer you to a neurologist specializing in childrens head injuries.

I would be concerned as well & would get him to specialists asap.

That isn't normal...I don't care what the doctor says. He may have epilepsy...or nerve damage to the brain. Seek different medical advice, soon. He also may have a nerve problem with the sleeping, where his body reacts to his dreams. It sounds like several problems rolled into one. I'll pray for you and your son.

He needs to be having an MRI and an EEG. An EEG will see if he has any seizure activity. An Mri can diagnose any brain tumors or anything like that. That is not normal nor is it fine. He has something wrong with him.

Agree with everyone go demand answers. If your doctor does'nt help get another opinion! I can not believe that doctor would say everything was fine. Thats nuts!

ER docs are not equipped to handle this situation.
Take your son to a pediatric neurologist now!
You may need referral from your ped, if he/she wont do it, find another ped...quickly.

I'm not being foolish. Go to your doctor and demand answers. He's your son and you want him to be OK. If your doctor can't satisfy you, find another one.
