The Conference Bike for seven people! Check it out. (Before I saw this bike in San Francisco, the strangest bike I saw was a homemade double-decker where people weld one frame on top of another and make a really tall bike.....weird!)

I have ridden the Colorado MS-150 for 9 years in a row, and one of the largest teams there are the Sugar Bees. One of their members has Multiple Sclerosis and has been degenerating every year, but still has a good attitude.
One year, I saw a big yellow tandem at one of the rest stops. But it wasn't anything I'd ever seen before- it was a hand-cranked recumbent up front, with the "captain" in back manning the controls, and the Sugar Bee lady with MS was sitting up front!
With this setup, she was actually able to participate in the ride instead of just observing, and it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

It was a bike designed specifically for uphill races. At first glance, it looked like a regular road bike, but it had a single chainring only about 24 teeth.
