You can trap it using a live trap. The same ones they use to catch racoons. They go in, and can't get out.
It's great that you are going to have it spayed or neutered before it continues to add to the pet over population. Is this a stray or a feral cat? Strays, who've had homes but are misplaces or abandoned will enjoy the comforts of being a house cat. However, your chances of domesticating a feral cat are very slim. They need to bond with humans during a critical period in the first couple of weeks of life. You may be able to win this cats trust and have it live in your house, but it will continue to be a wild animal and you should treat it as such.
Friends of mine have taken in a feral cat and it lives with them, but it's not a pet, they can't pet it, pick it up. It will seek them out VERY occasionally for affection. They don't have children so it's not a problem, if you do, think carefully about it.

Good for you! Rent a cat trap, put food inside and the door will close when the cat enters it. Remember tho check the trap frequently so the cat is not contained in an area where it may be too hot and unprotected or the wrong animal wonders in there.
I don't know if you will be able to tame it. It depends if it has always been a feral cat or just is abandoned. Either way, you are helping by taking it to the vet

If you don't want to buy a trap, rent one from the local humane society. Ours rents theirs out for $50, which you get back when you return the trap to them. Purchasing a new one that's long enough for getting a cat without hurting the tail (a live-catch raccoon trap basically) costs $48 at the local farm supply stores.
Bait it with chicken or a can of wet food, and if you catch a raccoon or possum or the wrong cat instead, just release them and rebait the trap. If you get a skunk, just be careful not to get it too scared.

If you do set a live trap for the cat, please check it often. There are many bad things that can happen to trapped cats. For example, other wild animals, this time of year the sun is still very hot and with no water or food, it can be bad. And thats not counting what mean people can do...

I think you should trap the cat, but just be sure to check for it very often. Good luck

take the kittens to the look after they could be observed as for the wild cats they could no longer be socialized and does no longer have the potential to be placed in residences, take them to a advertisement zone in many situations people who paintings in those environments will start up feeding them, my hubbys' place does they have approximately 40 cats roaming around there now
