Once guilt is created in you, you are in the clutches of the priest.
You cannot escape now because he is the only one who can clean all the shameful parts of you, who can make you capable of standing before God without being ashamed.
He creates the fiction of God.
He creates the fiction of guilt.
He creates the fiction that one day you will have to stand before God: so be clean and be pure, and be in such a state that you can stand before Him without any fear, and without any shame.

I answer to no man, only to God through Jesus Christ.

My My now--It's good to know I don't stand alone. I agree with every word you said. If so many weren't deceived, then the prophecy wouldn't be fulfilled either. Their eyes are blinded with scales like the
Pharisees. I believe satan has used Islam as a distraction to who the real false prophet is. The Pope himself. It is so clear. Keep watch and pray, brother! God Bless!

Oh dear how wrong you are.
The sacrament of Confession is Jesus acting in the world forgiving sin and healing people of guilt.
Even nonbelievers can appreciate the therapeutic effect of this practice.
For Protestants who question this sacrament : Read your Bible next time and see in John's Gospel what Jesus gave to his apostles after his Resurrection.

I confess my sins to Jesus Christ ONLY.

Jesus is our mediator.

1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

i wouldn't say it's a great ''business,'' since priests take a vow of poverty.

to those who say ''no true christians go to private confession,'' i can list *at least* 18 passages that make confession and absolution a very biblical practice, and i'm not even catholic. catholics aren't the only ones who practice it.

It is a sign of the antichrist system which puts themselves in the place of God to forgive sins.

The Pope, and the papist system (the daughters of the mother of harlots) who sets himself up in the temple (professing believers) of God, with all the abilities of god on earth (Vicar of Christ), who performs the abomination of desolation (re-sacrifice of Christ in their bloodless mass for the dead, and the magical performance of turning wine and bread into blood and body 'transubstantiation') holding a cup of abominations and drunk on the blood of the martyrs (Inquisition) wearing purple and scarlet, and has massive physical wealth (gold, jewels on the pagan head set) who worship the host of bread and bow down to idols (Eucharist and Mary/saint worship)

Come on people! Just like there is a one in bazillion chance of one man fulfilling prophecy of Messiah, there's the same chance one man's description would fulfill the description of antichist in the beast (government of Rome sitting on seven hills) and the religious (RCC)

The only way one could be blinded to this obvious fact, is the same way the Jews were blinded to the obvious fulfilling of prophecy in Christ. It never ceases to amaze me, and yet I know God is in control of those who will be quickened (made alive) to see the truth.

I am not John the Baptist, but the Lord does show me sometimes what it's like to be one voice crying in the wilderness. (Mark 1:2-4)
