I can think of two sure things that would reduce your headaches.
Number one is exercise. Get the blood flowing in your body and to your brain and you won't get as many headaches.
Number two is stop eating so much sugar. Too much blood glucose makes your blood thick like syrup. No wonder you would get a headache if you have corn syrup for blood. Speaking of, high fructose corn syrup should become a dirty word to you. Stay away from anything that has it and I bet your headaches will stop.

This may sound REALLY weird but close your eyes and imagine that there is a blue light in the part of your head where the pain is. You should be able to see that blue light in your imagination and while 'seeing' the blue light you should not feel any pain. My mother told me about this years ago and I will always use it when I have a terrible headache.

I usually rest, and try to fall asleep. When you sleep, your muscles typically relax (exceptions such as TMJ due to grinding your teeth can continue during sleep) and your blood pressure slows down which reduces muscle tension and vascular pressure.

You can also try relaxation techniques. One that works well for me is to lay down, and tense the muscles in every part of my body one area at a time, beginning with my toes, for a few seconds before taking a deep breath and relaxing those muscles. I work my way up to the muscles in my face. Unfortunately, I tend to fall asleep about half the time, so I would suggest trying this when you have time to rest if you do fall asleep.

you can try putting an ice pack on your head or neck, try different places and see if any of it will work.
also taking a hot bath can relieve the pain. or a massage. also drink a big glass of water, and eat something good for you (not junk food). sometimes hunger and thirst cause headaches.

good luck!! i know how awful headaches can be.

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

Lay flat on your back on your bed.
Place your hand between your breast with your index finger pointing up towards your face.
Now try to touch your nose to your finger. Hold the position for 10 seconds. Relax.
Repeat 10 times.

Yes. Go to a secluded place ( even a closed well ventilated room in your house). sit cross legged. sit erect without bending. Close your eyes and then take deep breath (inhale as much air as possible) and then exhale the maximum out. Again inhale to the maximum and again exhale to the maximum limit. Repeat this for ten minutes and find that your head ache has vanished.

Try soaking in a bathtub full of very warm water. Massage the area between your thumb and forefinger. Massage the small middle area at the bottom of your head, just above the neck.
