It beats the alternative, which is to wait for Hezbollah to get enough rockets to carpet bomb Israel.

There's nos suchs things as ans "Israelian." Now if you're talking about an "Israeli" then that's something totally different altogether. And the answer is probably no. Not anymore than the Palestinians, anyway. It's amazing what people will do when they feel threatened.

I feel like India and Israel are similar in that they are both surrounded by not so friendly neighbors as a result they both have to always be vigilant at all times.
India has Pakistan and little bit of Afghanistan to the north and west who both are trying to cause major problems for India in Kashmir so India is vulnerable from the north and west and India also has Bangladesh on the East trying to cause problems in the Eastern portions.

Almost similar issues are there with Israel with its borders so both countries have to protect themselves.

Isreal has long had a policy of preemptive action to support and defend their territorial asperations. If Isreal perceives that they are likely to enter a war in the near future, they will try to start it first, in order to retain the initiative and the perceived control of their destiny. This can be seen in the Arab-Israel wars in 1948 and 1967 and in other conflicts.

But you might want to ask the same question of groups like Hezbollah, who have no problem with firing rockets into civilian areas. And by the way Hezbollah have come out with a new computer game that allows their youth to pretend to kill Israelis.

Not to mention the early indoctrination of Palistinian children to "to Seek Death for Allah" (Shahada)

Israelis do not love war.
They want to have peace and to let you live in peace.
Yasser Arafat is the reason there is no state for the refugees.

Forgiveness and compassion are the answer.

These are not the same people who kicked you out of Israel.

No I don't believe they love war...........they love to survive. For centuries they have lived a life of peace but too many other societies have persecuted them. They just aren't going to take it anymore. They fight out of necessity.
