Because it is God's Word, His Holy Word. God never changes. Therefore, His Wod does not either.

Because it is not just a book , the Holy Spirit lives in it and when you really put your heart in it while you read it, something happens, it changes you and I know no other book that can do that. That is how I know that Jesus is very real and alive today, because His Word lives.

Why is the bible the only book about a religion (the true God) hated, mocked,& and people try to silence those that quote it?
Are their hearts convicted?

what do you mean by 'it still stands'
the second largest religion is Islam with their Quran.
it still stands , why is that ?
so if your religion is true , thus Jesus is a God , and because of your reasoning , Quran will be true , and thus Jesus is just a prophet.
so .. doesnt that show that your point of reasoning is stupid?

The Rig Veda (Hindu holy book) is even older. By your reasoning, it must be true too.
P.S. The Bible *has* changed. You know that verse about "beating swords into plowshares"? Plowshares hadn't even been invented yet.
